Hypergram Inc., a developer of high-performance hyperspectral imaging technologies for industrial automation, has officially been accredited as a Research Institute by the Korea Industrial Technology Association (KOITA) under the Ministry of Science and ICT as of March 10, 2025.
This accreditation affirms that Hypergram possesses a dedicated R&D organization and infrastructure capable of sustained technological innovation. The recognition of a Research Institute is more than a validation of technical capabilities—it is a significant milestone for R&D-driven technology companies, signifying that their internal research activities meet rigorous national standards.
A Corporate R&D Center is a designation granted to companies that fulfill specific requirements for establishing internal R&D organizations. Accredited companies become eligible for various government incentives, including R&D project participation, tax benefits, support for technical talent, and infrastructure expansion—critical resources for accelerating the growth of technology-based startups.
To solidify its R&D foundation, Hypergram has established its Research Institute at the KAIST Campus in Daejeon, South Korea. The center focuses on the development of high-performance hyperspectral cameras and AI-based image analysis software. This accreditation validates Hypergram’s continued commitment to technological advancement and innovation.
Going forward, Hypergram will leverage the Research Institute as a strategic base to strengthen its research capabilities, accelerate the industrial deployment of hyperspectral imaging technologies, and lead innovation in the field of automated machinery manufacturing.
